  • Keep in mind that new projects should be started when the moon is waxing (from dark to full).

  • When the moon is waning (from full to dark) it is time for banishing and rejecting things we no longer wish to carry around with us.

  • The three days before the new moon is known as the dark of the moon, this is a time to rest and recoup energy.

  • The Harvest Moon is the Full Moon that falls nearest the Fall Equinox (Mabon). This gave farmers extra moonlight hours to bring in the crops.

  • A Blue Moon occurs when the moon with its 28 day cycle appears twice in the same month due to that months 31 day duration.
